Naša klet se nahaja v čudoviti vinski regiji Južna Štajerska v Avstriji. Ilirsko podnebje in senca Alp ustvarjata različne vremenske razmere – ure sredozemskega sonca, velika temperaturna nihanja in obilno deževje. Čeprav se te okoliščine zdijo težke, nam po drugi strani dajejo edinstvene prednosti. Umirjenost, vedrina in potrpežljivost so potrebni za doseganje potenciala rastišča Ilirije.

Our winery is located in the marvellous wine region South Styria in Austria. The Illyrian climate and shadow of the Alps create varying weather conditions – hours of Mediterranean sunshine, vast temperature fluctuations and heavy rain. Even though these circumstances seem hard, they give us unique advantages on the other hand. Calmness, serenity and patience are necessary to extract the Illyrian potential.

Master Class posvečamo deseti obletnici festivala in ideji, da se eno najboljših rastišč sauvignona razteza čez Avstrijo, Slovenijo in Hrvaško s kraki proti Italiji, Madžarski in Srbiji. Zato smo na Master Class povabili vinske strokovnjake:
– Saša Špiranec je direktor kultnega hrvaškega vinskega festivala Vinart in mednarodni vinski strokovnjak.
– Robert Gorjak je mednarodno uveljavljen strokovnjak z WSET diplomo in eden vodilnih slovenskih vinskih profesionalcev, soustanovitelj šole Belvin, prve slovenske vinske šole.
– Reinhard Muster je vrhunski vinar, svetovljan, prejemnik številnih nagrad na vinskih ocenevanjih svetovnega formata. Letos je prejel najvišje priznanje na mednarodnem vinskem ocenjevanju Sauvignon Selection by Concours Mondial Bruxelles – “Trophy Winner” za Sauvginon Blanc Ried Grubthal 2020.

The Master Class is dedicated to the tenth anniversary of the festival and the idea that one of the best wine growing areas of sauvignon stretches across Austria, Slovenia and Croatia with branches towards Italy, Hungary and Serbia. That’s why we gathered top experts:
– Saša Špiranec is the director of the cult Croatian wine festival Vinart and an international wine expert.
– Robert Gorjak is the internationally renowned expert with WSET Diploma and one of the leading Slovenian wine professionals, co-founder of the Belvin School, the first Slovenian wine school.
– Reinhard Muster is top winemaker, cosmopolitan, recipient of numerous awards at world-class wine evaluations. This year he received the highest award at the international wine evaluation Sauvignon Selection by Concours Mondial Bruxelles – “Trophy Winner” for Sauvginon Blanc Ried Grubthal 2020.
