MASTER CLASS posvečamo deseti obletnici festivala in ideji, da se eno najboljših rastišč sauvignona razteza čez Avstrijo, Slovenijo in Hrvaško s kraki proti Italiji, Madžarski in Srbiji. Zato smo na Master Class povabili tri vinske poznavalce:
– Saša Špiranec je direktor kultnega hrvaškega vinskega podjetja Vinart in mednarodni vinski strokovnjak, ocenjevalec vin ter pisec o vinu.
– Robert Gorjak je mednarodno uveljavljen strokovnjak z WSET diplomo in eden vodilnih slovenskih vinskih profesionalcev, soustanovitelj šole Belvin, prve slovenske vinske šole.
– Reinhard Muster je vrhunski vinar, svetovljan, prejemnik številnih nagrad na vinskih ocenjevanjih svetovnega formata. Letos je prejel najvišje priznanje na mednarodnem vinskem ocenjevanju Sauvignon Selection by Concours Mondial Bruxelles – “Trophy Winner” za Sauvignon Blanc Ried Grubthal 2020.

Podrobneje o letošnjih nosilcih Master Classa
Saša Špiranec – ustanovitelj medijskega, trženjskega in svetovalnega podjetja Vinart, ki objavlja vinske in gastronomske edicije, vodi vinska izobraževanja, organizira predstavitve vin in ustvarja kampanje za vinska združenja različnih vinskih dežel. Je sodelavec v številnih časopisih in revijah. Je organizator vinskega sejma Vinart Grand Tasting v Zagrebu in poletnega vinskega festivala Vinski Grad v štirih hrvaških mestih; Zagreb, Varaždin, Pulj in Reka. Je partner v Vinolab d.o.o., laboratorij za analize vina.
Robert Gorjak – priznan slovenski vinski kritik in vinopisec z mednarodnim ugledom. Leta 1994 je napisal svoj prvi članek o vinu. Danes je sodelavec za Slovenijo za Oxford Wine Companion (Jancis Robinson) ter The World Atlas of Wine (Hugh Johnson, Jancis Robinson). Leta 2017 je izdal knjiga Slovenija, vinska dežela.Leta 2001 sta skupaj z ženo Sandro ustanovil prvo vinsko šolo v Sloveniji, Belvin vinsko šolo, kjer razvija vsebine in poučuje. Je prvi Slovenec z WSET diplomo iz vina Kot ocenjevalec na mednarodnih vinskih ocenjevanjih redno ocenjuje na Decanter World Wine Awards, kjer je bil nekaj let predsednik slovenske ocenjevalne komisije. Njegove vsakdanje aktivnosti vključujejo poučevanje o vinu, svetovanje, organizacijo dogodkov, občasno vinopisje ter organizacijo in vodenje vrhunskih vinskih popotovanj, po Franciji in po svetu.
Reinhard Muster – the underdog. While full of respect for his Steiermark colleagues, Reinhard Muster goes his own way. Never loud or glamorous, his way certainly seems to do many things right. At least if success is any indicator. There is simply no other winemaker like him on the scene. Reinhard Muster of Weingut Muster.Gamlitz has his head in the clouds and his hands in the dirt. As a pilot he enjoys seeing the world, including the vineyards, from above, and you notice when you talk about wine with Reinhard that his is a different perspective. “Patience is our philosophy.”

MASTER CLASS is dedicated to the tenth anniversary of the festival and the idea that one of the best wine growing areas of sauvignon stretches across Austria, Slovenia and Croatia with branches towards Italy, Hungary and Serbia. That’s why we gathered top experts:
- Saša Špiranec is the director of the cult Croatian wine festival Vinart and an international wine expert,
- Robert Gorjak is the internationally renowned expert with WSET Diploma and one of the leading Slovenian wine professionals, co-founder of the Belvin School, the first Slovenian wine school.
