Meum Winery, Jurij Brumec "Vineyards were already spreading on the wine-growing hills above Loče in the time of the Carthusians. The Brumec family has continued the Carthusian tradition of vine cultivation in this area for the last three generations. Around six hectares of vineyards, or some 30 000 vines, are cultivated. The majority of the vines are red varieties, mainly blue pinot, and of the white varieties chardonnay, grey pinot and sauvignon. The fresh Meum sauvignon 2021 vintage, which you will be able to taste at the festival, has been aged for ten months on fine lees."
