The Styrian wine-growing region may not boast high mountains and the sea, but it has sparkling and cheerful people who carry the wine tradition in their hearts and the weight and beauty of the profession in their smiles.
Our ancestors entrusted us with a wine heritage that spans thousands of years. That is why we respect, cherish and continue it.
The Obsotelje and Kozjansko region is known for the kindness and diligence of its inhabitants. The heart and foundation of the region's homeliness is the countryside, which ensures the quality of Obsotelje's and Kozjansko's delicacies with all the necessary love and respect for nature.
The wine-tourist roads of Obsotelje and Kozjan bring together everything that our wine-rich land has to offer - castles, museums, churches, guesthouses, tourist farms, thermal springs, unspoilt nature, cultivated areas and vineyards, which give the landscape its distinctive look and its people their character. This vast patch of sweet whispers between earth and sky has been home for a thousand years.

The top-quality Emino wines from the Šmarsko-Virštanj wine-growing region are characterised by a special harmony - the music of the local fields and the millennial tradition of the last drop, which is housed in the Emino Wine House - the largest cooperative winery in the Obsotelje and Kozjansko area.
Every year, we buy between 200 and 300 tonnes of grapes from the surrounding area. Emma's wines of sauvignon, chardonnay, riesling, blue franc, velvet black and yellow muscat are then carefully vinified, bottled and 200,000 litres are ready to celebrate special achievements.

You are cordially invited to one of the most picturesque city centres in Slovenia on Saturday 10 September - the Celje 2022 Promenade of Tastes, at a time when the vineyards surrounding the city smell sweetly of the sweetness of ripe grapes.
This Saturday, we will explore the Princely City with a wine tasting glass in hand from 2 pm until sunset at 8 pm.
