In our family, grandfathers and grandmothers on both sides of our parents were already involved in viticulture, but only for their own use and for the love of the vine, and we started to grow wine professionally in 1995, when my father and mother rented their first vineyards in the municipality of Udine, in the town of Vareja, and in the Dravinje Peak area, and saw that it could be an agricultural activity that the family could engage in.
Over the years until today, we have gradually increased the area of our vineyards and renewed the vineyards, so that today we cultivate 26 hectares of vineyards in four different locations in the Halos region, planted with 77,000 vines of nine different varieties, both world-wide, as well as indigenous and local varieties typical of the Styria-Slovenia wine-growing region."
