"Vineyards were already spreading on the wine-growing hills above Loče in the time of the Carthusians.
The Brumec family has continued the Carthusian tradition of vine cultivation in the area for the last three generations.
We cultivate around six hectares of vineyards, or some 30,000 vines.
The majority are red varieties, mainly blue pinot, with white varieties including chardonnay, pinot gris and sauvignon.
We fill around 30,000 bottles a year.
Four years ago, the wines, carefully nurtured by experienced winemaker Jurij Brumec, were rebranded as Meum Winery, or My Wine.
Although it is a young brand, it is already well established in the market. Half of the bottles are sold to hotel and restaurant caterers and the rest to domestic and international customers, including Belgium, the USA, Austria and Slovakia.
Come and taste our wines. We look forward to welcoming you - at the Celje 2022 Promenade of Tastes!"
