Spodnje Podravje Rural Youth Association is an indispensable partner of the Sauvignon Salon "The Association of Rural Youth of Spodnje Podravje has been active since 2013 with more than 100 members. The aim of the association is to bring together young people from the countryside to show their diligence, knowledge and kindness at various events. The association gives its members the opportunity to update their knowledge, to show it in various ways and to do it all with a lot of good humour and fun. Every year we take part in farming and other board games at association, regional and national level. We are also proud of our success in the Youth and Agriculture Quiz, where we won this year. We often collaborate with other organisations on major local events. We like to combine knowledge and fun, so we organise an excursion every year, and for the last few years we have also organised a harvest festival. Like every association, we get together once a year for a general assembly and a closing ceremony. Through exchanges and other activities, members have the opportunity to take our name and experience further afield in Europe. Master Class. This year's winners will be Eds. Prof. Dr Klemen Lisjak and Assoc. Prof. Dr Guillaume Antalick. They will be joined by a guest, Univ. Prof. DI Dr. techn. Erich Leitner from the University of Graz, Austria. At this year's Master Class, we will be tasting and comparing this year's top-rated festival sauvignons, a French sauvignon from the Loire, a New Zealand sauvignon and an Austrian sauvignon. From a scientific and technical point of view, we will compare the aromatic composition of this aromatic variety. We will also discuss the modern winemaking technologies that are being applied to the vinification of sauvignons.
