KOBAL WINES // Smo butična vinarna iz severovzhodne Slovenije, regije Štajerska, blizu mesta Ptuj, vinski podokoliš Haloze. Vinska kultura v našem mestu ima skoraj dvatisočletno zgodovino. Osredotočeni smo na bela vina, saj to ustreza našemu rastišču. Pridelujemo sauvignon blanc, sivi pinot, šipon, rumeni muškat, chardonnay, laški rizling, traminec in modro frankinjo ter nekaj zvrsti belih vin. S svojimi vini želimo prikazati pristnost rastišča in sortno izraznost, s polnostjo telesa in dolgim pookusom. Podnebje je celinsko s povprečno letno količino padavin približno tisoč milimetrov, z vročimi poletji in mrzlimi zimami. Naši vinogradi so stari od 15 do 57 let in so na nadmorski višini med 250 in 400 metri. Geološka sestava zemlje je bogata, v glavnem gre za lapor, prekrit s tanko plastjo ilovice. Naše načelo je trajnostno vinogradništvo, grozdje pridelujemo okolju prijazno z integrirano kultivacijo. Vzgoja in oblika naših trt je dvojni guyot, gostota sajenja in obremenjenost trt pa se giblje okoli 2.500 trt na hektar, pri čemer ohranjamo približno dva kilograma na trto. // https://www.kobalwines.si/

The Master Class is dedicated to the tenth anniversary of the festival and to the idea that one of the best sauvignon growing regions stretches across Austria, Slovenia and Croatia with branches to Italy, Hungary and Serbia. That's why we invited wine experts to the Master Class:
- Saša Špiranec is the director of the iconic Croatian wine festival Vinart and an international wine expert,
- Robert Gorjak is an internationally renowned expert with a WSET diploma and one of Slovenia's leading wine professionals, co-founder of the Belvin School, Slovenia's first wine school.
- Reinhard Muster, world-class winemaker, cosmopolitan, winner of numerous awards at world-class wine competitions. This year, he received the highest award at the International Sauvignon Selection by Concours Mondial Bruxelles - "Trophy Winner" for his Sauvignon Blanc Ried Grubthal 2020.
